On October 17, the GCWJ Live2Free club will hold our annual Fair Trade Fashion Show in the Scott Courtyard at Vanguard University. The fashion show is a student-led, free community event, which aims to educate and celebrate ethical fashion with Vanguard students and the community.

Women’s Equality Day is More Than a Day and Takes All of Us

On August 26, the Global Center for Women and Justice (GCWJ) at Vanguard University will host the first event for our campus wide Year of Civility in Vanguard’s Waugh Student Center. It is also Women’s Equality Day, which commemorates the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920, granting women the right to vote.

Breaking the Silence for Boys

The perception that men are mainly perpetrators, and females are victims, creates an environment where male human trafficking has traditionally been unseen and underreported. Human trafficking, is however, not a women’s issue.

GCWJ 2023-2024 In Review

2023 – 2024 was a big year for the Global Center for Women and Justice – not only for our team and students but for the army of volunteers and supporters who continue to spend their time and resources with us so we can make a difference in the fight to end human trafficking.
